Hi Richard

I, too, often have those times as well. I'm glad you stopped. the pictyure is a beauty. the reflection is stunning, just enough of a ripple to make it look like water, but not too much as to hide the refelction and a patch without reflection at all.

Great shot and well stopped.

This is a rich image Richard. In good light my Panasonic really saturates the colors too. This is a classic landscape shot, with great sharpness and good exposure. I've not seen Banff when the weather was this nice. If one wanted to a little bit of detail could be retrieved in the underexposed trees. Nice work!

Hi Richard,
What a stunner. This is surely a must stop situation. Even dinner can wait when such wonderful light hits a scenery like this. I love the clarity in this photo and how the sun gave you such wonderful rich colors. The distorted reflection of the mountains on the lake is very beautiful.

It is good to know that this location is reachable by car. Our plan is to visit this location next summer and I surely want to see this in real.

Hello Richard,
This Banff landscape is a classic beauty that is enhanced by the evening light that casts decorative shadows. I don't think I would have thought of the UE trees until Evelynn mentioned them, but I think the overall impression of this technically first class shot is very pleasing.

one of the mirror shots that DO work..not to much detail in the lake gives an impressionist view of reality
both are pleasing and have their place in our mood times
mrs crow also points me in the right direction as i let my mind wander under a tree or at a 'pit stop'

Hi Richard

This is a truely splendid landscape shot!
I really like the moment of the day you took this at, the impeccable reflection on the surface of the water and the composition you managed to ocreate.
The expsure here is spot-on and it also came with an amazing set of colors and tones. The vivid green of the trees looks so great against that charming blue of the sky and mountains.
The POV is excellent and the details everywhere are very nice and sharp.

Very nice view and exact title. I don't know which image I like the most, the original or reflected. Amazing composition and beautiful colours. Perfect point of view and great depth of field. One can easily get lost in yourself looking at a landscape like this. So peaceful and serene. Nature at its best, no sounds of the daily rat race interfering with the silence. The mood and atmosphere here is just terrific. Thanks for sharing.
