[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi All , today I have this common blue damselfly , which I found as it captured its meal , though I had to pursue it from perch to perch it soon settled in to eating its meal , and gave me the chance to get fairly close.

watching this scene , I could not help but to notice the size of its meal versus the size of its neck ,especially considering how quickly it munched this insect down.

in my past two years of photography ,using a point and shoot canon s3, viewing this through the lcd just did not compare to the thrill of seeing it through the nikon d80's optical viewfinder. between the magnification of the lens and the clarity of the pentaprism viewfinder it has opened up a whole new world of observing while photographing , though I still do need practice with the manual focus ;-)

not to take me the wrong way :-) the canon s3 is a great camera and has given me a lot of joy and some very nice pictures too. I still keep it handy ;-)

bravo pour avoir reussi ce gros plan de cet insecte pourtant de petite taille avec autant de netteté et detail,en plus il y a la proie qui apporte de l'action a l'image.

I know what you mean about the viewfinder of a DSLR... it's stunning compared to the LCD of a compact. I agree about the Canon S3 too, great little camera! :-)
