[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I would like to dedicate this image to Asbed a huge contributor to this site. He said once through TrekNature his has grown a fondness to coyotes and wolves, I hope one day he has an opportunity to capture one in the wild. This young coyote came out of the rocks to see what all the fuss was about as we captured some bighorn sheep higher on a rockface.
National Parks are a wonderful places where animals have little fear of humans which allows us to observe each other with out fear.

#@!%&! Grrrrrr! WHERE in Jasper did you capture this guy? We saw NOTHING when we were there... nothing except zillions of people. We couldn't get over how crowded it was! Just got home and are leaving again on the 11th for Wyoming. Just heard there is a big fire in Yellowstone! What's left to burn?!

I really like your shot of this little guy. The pose and the toning colors throughout are special.

Well, well well... I just noticed what lens you were using!!!!!! Congratulations!

Hi Rick,

This Coyote CANNOT be related to the ones we have in the desert. He is beautiful with a magnificent coat and wonderful feathers. Ours are scrawny and look like stray dogs. The pose and expression on his face is precious. A wonderful rocky setting. A very nice dedication to our good friend Asbed.

Hello Rick,
I've missed this beauty last week. Wonderful image in superb colours, the camouflage of the coyote is impressive. How did you find it? Even with the 600 mm difficult I think. Fantastic accurate animal with these ears straight up. Excellent sharp details, POV and composition.
Regards,
Peter
