"THE ROCKIES"
Smack in the center is Mt. Hector. It is 3394 m ( 11,135 ft.)
Mount Hector is a prominant mountain that sits majestically above the Bow Valley off of Highway # 93.
We registered this one on 8th. October 2006 from atop of "Little Beehive" on our return from the Lake Agnes hike to the Lake Louise parking lot with a small Sony DSC - S60 from a distance of about 50Km. or more.

interesting view. i'd have increased contrast a bit so that the haze wasn't so obvious. i'd have reduced the amount of black in the foreground by cropping. he sky looks like it's pretty but the haze washes it out too much.

Hi Mario
This is a beautiful view of Mt Hector. It looked like a warm day by the haze in the valley. Mt. Hector is a very bold and rugged mountain. Nicely composed and framed.

Finally Mario we are going to get some sun and warmth...I'm so happy.

Hello Mario,
It is a beautiful mountain landscape, and you frame it veruy well!
I like this composition with the strong diagonal part in front, as it frames well the view of the landscape...
Good feeling of depth in a sharp fine image!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Hi Aires, fab shot of the Rockies, would make a great poster! I love the POV and perspective view giving great colour and light on the mountains.

Hi, dear Mario.
You have selected landscape for picture, captured time and POV very well. Lights and shadows are unusual but very expressive and even almost black foreground. Details of all part of image and sharpness are perfect too. Excellent done and TFS. My best wishes.
Alexei.

Hello Aries Mario!
Sorry for the long absence - I had some lumbar problems when sitting at the computer chair.

I'm glad now to see so many new pictures arround. I'm fascinated by mountain views and by the grandeur of this one in particular.

Now I'm leaving to go through your other new posts.
Anton
