[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The river coulees of this part of the world are intriguing. They seem to be formed by erosion of the soft ground from water and shaped by the wind. During a brief respite from the rain yesterday, the late afternoon sun broke through and bathed them in sidelight. Memories of some shots of Ireland inspired me to try this. Thanks, to TN members for letting me get ideas from shots like this and this. (Though, I did grow up in the green hills of northern California, I should point out the window for this type of greenery lasts for about 2 weeks here.)

PP: Even with a 300mm, this required a good crop to lose the sky along the top and powerlines along the bottom. Then I bumped the contrast, sharpened, resized and framed.

Hi Mike,
Looks beautiful, this ondulating green carpet.
Nice light. Not very sharp and difficult to get an idea of the scale though.
But good idea! TFS

Hi Mike, this is a very nice landscape ! All these hills look fantastic, and I love all the different nuances of green on your shot. Excellent csharpness, composition and POV. Well done !
Valérie.

This reminds me of my green California hills. One waits all year for that burst of green...and then it's over.

I like this shot. The fact that the sky and powerlines forced a panorama was fortunate. I like the format. Nice range of greens. TFS

Evelynn : )

Its a very fine capture Mike. Great demonstration of light and shade with nice depth and forty shades of green. The textures on the hills are a nice bonus. Good job.

I like rolling hill shots, I cant explain it but they are very appealing and you have a nice capture of these beautiful green rollies. Well done Mike. :)

Nice, nice, nice... Green morphological dance :)

Bravo, Mike...
