Nice shot Mike,
The details are nice, clear and sharp.
Good colours, lighting and exposure. DOF is spot on and the POV is good. Poppies have this wrinkled look when they are newly opened.
Well composed and nicely framed.

Hello Mike, nice shot of the newly open poppy! I think your composition is a little to tight. If you could have pulled back it would have helped DOF cover the span of flower. Regards Steve.

they are great when they are like this aren't they? I have a few that are similar as well, but at 9:15 in the morning those wrinkles should have gone...

croppin gis a touch too close on the RHS for my liking, but I like the picture and you have caught the stamen really well.
