Very nice. I like the colors and the mirror pose of the deers. I guess the grainy structure is partly caused by print and scanning the pic.

Hello, Christan. I noticed that you have posted photos from my hometown so checked out your portfolio. Eclectic ideas.
These are mule deer. Strangely, white tail deer have brown, larger tails, and mule deer have the white, smaller tail with the dark tip and white buttocks. We have a few white-tails in the river valley as well, and when frightened they lift the tail and it waves back at you, all white when raised, on the underside only. That big white tail actively waves at you as a white-tail run away, almost asking you to follow. I presume they instinctively do this to lure predators away from hiding, defenseless, fawns. When mules run away they often do an unusual prance, called 'stotting', with all four legs leaving the ground at the same time.
This pic nicely illustrates the camouflage thing, and the simple colors of the river valley. Pretty good, within equipment limitations - these are really difficult with uncooperative subjects.
