Hi All,
I have missed you all, I am not sure how to put into words my great sense of lose with the departure of some of our best contributors here over the last few weeks of turmoil. I have lost many good friends, but many remain but do not post. Still more are still here sharing their great works and words. I am torn as what to do, I love sharing images with you all here and if they bring a smile or a chuckle, if they inform or entertain you, that is what I am here for, not to make money. To learn from your images and words are my reward. People here are like minded and quick to understand the passion one has for NATURE. I have been inspired by many here, people with warm hearts and great knowledge both technical and spiritual. These are the reasons I choose to start posting again, I need that interaction to keep me healthy inside. Todays post is a Mule Deer doe giving her new one a morning face wash just outside our trailer one morning at Waterton. The tenderness is thereto warm ones heart.

Hi Rick,

Awwwww, this is the sweetest picture I have seen in a long time. I haven't seen a baby Mule Deer this size around here - ever. The interaction between mother and child is beautiful. You captured the moment perfectly and what a moment it was. A wonderful shot.I was beginning to think you had deserted us too - I'm sooo glad to see you. Hi Lucy!

Jane

Well I am still here as you know Rick and I really fell in love with this image. It's one of those which anyone would love but only a good heart would take time to image!

Hi Rick,
I know how you feel. : (
You have just described my feelings from top to bottom.
from the loss of friends to the reason I stay here.
Well seeing your post was very encouraging for me.
And it is the sweetest picture. ; )
I LOVE the perspective you took, and the pose of the little fawn.
So much tenderness and vulnerability.
A moment well-caught and TFS (and not just your photo).

Hi Rick.
Touching scene of the Mom and its baby. Framing of the scene is very attractive as well as widest DOF and excellent details of both animals and impressive grass. Shot is looked as underexposed but I do not know is it good or not so good :). My warm regards.
Yours Alexei.

Hi Rick,
What a very tender moment you managed to capture here. Maybe it is a little dark, but I guess that this was captured in the early morning. Nice composition and pov.
Happy to see you are still here.

Hi Rick
Cuteness factor 10....a very special moment captured.

I'm still around...laying low....I just haven't been out to doing much photography....I'm sure things will settle down soon. Give them time I'm sure some will come back. Check out the Photographers on Facebook, you'll see some familiar faces.

Take care
