Hi All,
Todays image is a Black Bear cub pleading with Mom for permission for him and his sibling to stay down from their tree. The Mom had chased them up so she could forage in peace. They were allowed to stay down and they went with Mom on their adventure. It was drizzling out so he is a little damp. Lucy can't wait to see what this bear season has in store for us, but the recent snows will delay that a bit. This little one came within a meter or so of her a few days later. See said she didn't think they were THAT tiny.

Hi Rick,

I like your and other's bear pictures a lot and I intend to go out for them as well again late spring/early summer this year, maybe in Sweden or in Finland (not made up my mind yet),I know they are hard to capture as they (at least here) tend to be active in evening/night,the composition is great although a bit on the dark site,I posted a WS where I tried to brighten up this compo a bit, thanks for sharing,

Paul

Hy Rick
Sometime I amazed how you can get so close to the wild animals.
Indeed, I think also that the picture is too dark, but still, the little bear is funny hiden after the tree.
Well done and TFS!
Regards, Oana

Hi Rick,

You always have wonderful surprises for us with your up close and personal shots of the wild animals. You are so fortunate to see them with your own eyes and we are the benefactors. The expression on the cub's face is priceless and Paul's workshop brings it out well. How small are they? It's hard to tell from a picture.

Hi Rick.
Tomorrow in early morning I will go to business trip. All this time I prepared for the trip and almost did not visit TN. Last hours before the trip I'll devote to your nice pictures.

This one is very attractive by subject and you managed to catch a touching moment. I also like nice note as comments to the shot. It is really underexposed a bit but it is not a key point. Scene is so intimate and you have reflected its spirit very well. My kind regards and TFS.
Alexei.
