Hi Rick,
I haven't been active for some time on TN but this image is special to me too; having shared the experience of this coyote family with you at Waterton. I LOVE these two images also. Thanks for sharing them. I remember them well when you shared them with us the day you took them! I'm so happy to see them again.
It's a wonderful shot with mom in the sunlight on the ridge. Those babies grew so much just in the few days we were there. He looks so little. It's a great post (workshop also!) Thanks.
Evelynn : ) (and Jerry too!)

Hi Rick
I'm listening to Sunshine on my Shoulders by John Denver and it just goes so well with this portrait of your Coyote. Love the composition and the way the Coyote is on the ridge with the treed hill in the background. The little one in the foreground adds a bit of innocents to your image. Coyotes have a special roll in nature and they deserve a place on this earth too.
TFS and have fun in the Cypress Hills.

Hello Rick,
Wonderful shot of a Coyote mother: she looks so majestic as she stands and waits for her cub on the ridge and the WS image of the cub is great!
The lighting and how she contrasts with the Bg in a great composition is just how a wildlife shot should be.
Thanks my friend,
Ivan

Hola Rick.
I really this photo and the note You wirte here Rick. Coyotes are a beautiful wild animals but just a few people like them, and for some reason ranchers dot like them. Coyotes are the most adaptable animals here, not manner how hard is to live in our enviromnet they can still living.
Ps- There is a photo for You in My gallery.

Hi Rick,
I know just how you feel! In every family of Quails there seems to be one slowpoke. I can't tell you how many times I have worried about the pokey when the family starts to leave and it looks like he will be left behind. I am always glued to the spot watching to see he will be okay. So I certainly appreciate both of these pictures and your notes. I love the way Mom is watching after her pup. Reminds me of the way we watched our children in the playgrounds. The pup looks so tiny - I've only seen mature coyotes here. He is beautiful - I love the workshop. A superb shot that surely evokes emotion. And you expressed yourself very well.
