Hi Folks , today I have another American Avocet photo to share, this one again was taken at Frank lake wildlife area , it sure is a great place to visit to see the beautiful birds. though I have shared a few images of this type of bird already , I thought one with a splash of green would be nice :-)

This is stunning. I love the perfect reflection, the smoothness of the water, and yes, the splash of green. This is one heck of a shot - splended details, perfect composition, and a wonderful frame.

Once more, I am envious!

Hello Art, the reflections are nearly as sharp as the bird itself. Good face on image, colours are good too,

A lovely look at this avocet.The pov is wonderful.
The reflection is super.
I have never seen an avocet except here on TN.

Hey Art! You have done a fine job in the vertical. I am honest when I say, vertical has always eluded me...I reckon it is because I can see an image in my eyes as being one that needs to be this way...but I cannot for the life of me get it on film or digi! Drives me nuts..I have done it, don't get me wrong...but this particular image shows well it can be done..and that's what counts I guess.... And to add a reflection as well...It is indeed a very nice capture Art. Fine show!
