[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi Folks , had some good luck today with the insects , saw a few dragonflies , a very lovely jewel beetle , an interesting ant 'migration' and a really big stink bug :-)

going to share this dragonfly with you all , I believe that it is a type of meadow hawk , not very positive on which kind though , my favorite site seems to only have a picture for a cherry faced meadow hawk.

this one gave a bit of a show for me :-) giving me a few tries from different points of view , I am likely to be sharing a couple of other pictures of this insect :-)

Top drawer shot Art! Super sharp...full framed...lots of "stuff" to look at int he image, making it well worth the two cent stop! I am always amazed at how close in some get to these..I still have not seen but a couple at all this year...and you're not far from me either..

Hello Art,
Great capture from a fine point of view showing the dragonfly slightly from below with the wings up. I think it is struggling to keep its balance on the grass. Excellent sharpness and beautiful colours that stand out very well against the green background. Well done!

Being mostly a landscape photographer I often feel unequipped to critique insect photos. Technically this looks really good to me. The details are amazing.
