Wow Eve this is so classic and so perfect...How lucky can a gal get?! Sometimes when I see an image such as this I panic and lose control of my technical mind...you obviously got one or two then settled in and voila! So you haev a winner and big time!

Hi Evelyn,
I'm afraid I'm not familiar with that bridge but if it attracts magnificent Eagles like this it must be something! What an opportunity you had - and you took full advantage of it. The Eagle could not be more beautiful. Perfect face, wonderful plummage - all in fine detail with deep rich colors. Words really cannot describe how terrific this is.
Jane
Wow... What a beauty!
And quite a pose he gave you... a 3/4 profile. : )
The whites are perfectly exposed,
and the details are super sharp, including the frayed cable and the texture on the wood post.
Love the clean OOF BG.
Will you take us there next time?
TFS. : )

Hi Evelynn,
this sure is a mighty fine looking capture of the eagle showing much in the way of fine details. The light didn't work against you in this capture as the colours all look natural and true. The secret for poor light is to get in close and that sure is what you have done with this superb looking photo,it is nice when a raptor gives you a good chance to take photos of it.This bird sure has a stern look to it's face that makes me glad to not be a mouse.Because of resizing the photo has a somewhat soft looking focus but I downloaded to see if it could be tweaked up some and because it is such an excellent quality photo,it sharpen up beautifully. Thanks for sharing this view with us all and for bringing to my attention the existence of Harrison Mills,a place I think I would like to visit myself. Hi Evelynn!
It's a phantastic picture. The combination of human traces and wildlife creates an interesting duality. The composition is perfect and the short notes contain what is necessary. A very pleasant posting.
Thank you for your WS on my framing! Now I understand what you mean! :-) Well, from my point of view this type of framing highlights pictures quite well. I also use it in my slideshows. I'm used to set 5px of white frame which is a bit too much for TN sized pictures.
Kind regards
Markus

Hi Evelynn,
this is a great picture, the sharpness and exposure are spot on.
Every fine details are well seen even in the dark part. The bird stand out well from the clean BG.
Lovely colours and well composed. The wire is maybe a bit distracting but what to do.
Very well done.

Hello Evelynn,
What a fantastic clear photo of one of my favourite birds. The colours are amazing and well saturated, also in the dark BG.
Superb sharpness and details. Great pose with a majestic expression from the face. Very good POV, DOF and composition.

Hi Evelynn,
I would already be happy to see one, but to be able to see that many would probably make me jump....I'm talking about the eagle of course and not the dead salmon. Although seeing that many dead salmon for the first time would be nice as well.
I like the mix of pure wildlife and the human element and nothing else to distract. The limited aray of colors made the photo even more impressive and allows for a pefect focus on the bright yellow beak.
I am sure its me and my darn monitor, but the BG has a fair amount of noise.
TFS,
Niek

Wow, a beauty, Evelynn. I love these bald eagles. I like the way you worked with the signs of man to make for a nicely frameed image. Having shot these guys I know it's pretty hard to get the exposure right on the light AND dark areas. But you've done it perfectly.
Mike
P.S. If you like shooting bald eagles in a dead fish barrel, you might want to consider the Birds of Prey museum in Coaldale (3 hours east of Waterton). It's easier than fish in a barrel!

Hello Evelynn,
WOW! what a fantastic capture of this magnificent

bald eagles for the first time in barryville new york
along the delaware river. thety were too far to get a
clear shot, but it was a wondeful experience for me just to see them.
Great shot.
Thanks for sharing.

Hi Evelynn,
I'm not psychic, but I had a feeling you were leading us in for the kill :)
Very nice image, love the composition overall..
That cable sticking up adds some tension too - Call me strange :)
And you captured the eagles classic stern look well, from this great POV.
Excellent work under not so excellent conditions..I like it a lot.

This is an outstanding shot! I have such a difficult time trying to capture wildlife, maybe it is because my lens is definately not good in low light conditions, and my tripod is very unsturdy! But wow, I cannot get over how perfectly you've captured this. The eagle and the birdge are so sharp, yet you've managed to keep the background so soft. It is clear that you knew exactly what you were doing when you took this shot! Very nicely done! (A favourite of mine)

This is another little piece of art Evelynn! I' very impress by this series. They are wonderful creatures that I have the chance to see if I'm lucky in Mont Tremblant National Park but they are always little dots gliding in the sky. I never could get that close. Wonderful!
