View from Mount Wells on Vancouver Island. This is at the summit of a 482 m hike. The view was spectacular but this lone dead tree caught my attention.
Mount Wells is the home to the endangered species of Prairie Lupine. Apparently it is the only place in Canada where they grow although we looked very thoroughly but did not see any. |
