"WILD but BEAUTIFUL".

We found these WILD sweat pea plants growing off
Renfrew Road on the Northern shores of Lake Shawnigan
on Vancouver Island on 12 August 2006.
Note that the background has asphalt; this is Renfrew Road.

We loved its colour so we decided to register it.
We were guests at: Maxwell International Baha-i School
on Shawnigan Lake. We registered a lot of wild life on their 23 acres property.

Now in Portuguese:

"SELVAGENS mas BELAS".

Encontramos essas plantas de ervilha de suor SELVAGENS que crescem de Caminho de Renfrew nas costas do Norte de Lago Shawnigan
em Ilha de Vancouver no dia 12 de Agosto de 2006.
Observe que o contexto tem o asfalto; isto é o Caminho Renfrew.

Amamos a sua cor portanto decidimos registrá-lo.

Fomos hóspedes em : Escola de Maxwell International Baha-i em Lago Shawnigan. Também registramos muita vida selvagem nos seus 23 acres propriedade.

Looks like the Sea Pea to me. I have those growing amongst the rocks and bolders on the foreshore of my place. See the a lot when I hike... and have been known to eat the young "fruits:. When the peapods are young and tender it s doable. Later they turn rather bitter, like some people... eh!


What do you mean by "we registered"? That sounds intriguing.

Photo is nice and crips, both in colour and sharpness. I might prefer some more fading of background.
Very nicely matched bi-clour frame! Too clever that, what ;)

We have the same here in France, or at least something very similar. I love these beautiful flowers, and its delicate smell is a real pleasure. There are excellent details on the picture. Maybe a vertical composition would have been nice, but it's just my opinion, the picture is beautiful as it is. Very well done !
