[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
this waterbug (which I do not no the identity) disregarded the warnings about to much sun. Instead of a nice tan --- well you can see what happened. This rock was surrounded by water, so this needn't have been its demise it would seem.

Critiques [Translate]

All is not lost Bob.
If you look carefully you will see a split along the back.This is a nymph that has climbed up out of the water so that the adult fly can emerge.
I'm not sure what exactly,but it could be a stonefly.
Damselflies and Mayflies also have similar nymphs.
The adult would have emerged through the split in the back,dried off its wings and flown off.
So you see,there is a happy ending after all.
Taken from a little further back,you may have got a clearer shot,and would not have cut bits off.A slightly lower exposure value could have been an advantage.
Its still a better shot than any I've taken of these.
