[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another image taken during my sojurn along the northern tip of Vancouver Island. This image was made at the Cape Scott seastacks at the North-western tip of Vancouver Island shortly after a rainstorm had passed through the area.
This particular image was enhanced via some HDR processing in order to enhance the clouds and give it more overall punch. The HDR processing was done in Corel Paintshop Pro 12.

HI Tim , very nice image you have here , a nice moody composition.

I think your HDR processing is quite nice to , it gives an artistic feel to the image and brought out the best of the color without giving a surrealistic look...

That's a spectacular picture Tim. I love the fact that the ocean waves resemble the tree boughs. You're right about the clouds throwing the picture over the top too. Excellent shot! Trevor

Hi Tim,

I am so fond of all the coastal area of Vancouver Island. We spent a lot of time boating it. The rough sea and wind-shaped trees gives a hint to the wild weather possible there. Your HDR processing looks very natural. It's a nice shot.

this is spectacular landscape and you rendered it perfectly. You can even see the mist forming on top of the waves. And those battered trees tell the story of storms past. Well done, Tim

The mood here is most wonderful. The ominous layer of clouds and the windswept shape of the little trees on the stag are stunning. I am glad that you left the HDR as natural as possible. To many times people over do it.
