Nice evening? shot Doug. I'd like to think that the orange glow is just a nice sunset but around here our sky is the same exact color due to smoke from fires in California. We might be getting some from Washington too depending on wind direction.

The light and composition are really nice.

Hallo Doug
An absolutely stunning view filled with warmth and an assortment of spectacular colours. There are such a lot of lovely features in this one image to appreciate. A beautiful display of colour and detail of the elements of nature all in one. Golden coloured sky, a few fleece clouds, blue-ish silhouetted mountains in the distance, green trees, the lovely light reflected on the water, the greenery in the foreground and to me to me the main delight of this image the shorebirds flying over the water. It was an absolute delight to look at this great scenery, as it had an absolute peaceful effect on me.

I love this peaceful and warm atmosphere in your picture very much. It represents one of those moments that out in nature that go deep into one's heart. The picture also is perfect on the technical side and I particularly appreciate the well balanced composition.
