When the flowering season is over for Queen Anne's Lace aka Wild Carrot plants, amazing seed cages are formed. *

In the background some colour of Goldenrod, and bleached branches of brambles...

Location: luscious wilderness "field/meadow" along the foreshore of the bay known as Sambro Harbour.

I have re-posted this shot after some PP which I could not do at the time I first presented this shot.

Hello Jay,
This capture of the seeds of a new life is well composed with excellent detail. This seed cage is not what I like to find when walking my dogs, but they are sure nice here.

Hi Jay.
Brilliant reproduction of all beauty of this last year plant. I like crisp sharpness, perfect details and wonderful colours of its image. I also like blurriness of the BG, which helps to concentrate our attention on this plant. Shot is composed very nice. Even similar blurred plant is looked very well. My compliments and best wishes.

I like the "colors" you've captured in this shot; the "almost blues" in the BG
as well as the grays in the seed cage itself.
Nicely photoed, great composition; BG is
appropriately blurred,seed cage is sharply focussed.
Well done!!

Many times the plants waiting for spring are not so nice, but your capture of this gives it a artistic look. The DOF is good on this shot.
