Let's immediately identify these ducks, Donna as the Common Mergansers: two males < the black and white ones > and two females... They are amazing birds that can fly and dive with the best of 'em! I like this compo! It is so much what happens along my shoreline, when I can see over the snow! ;)

Excellent shot of these 'naughty' ducks. But you have managed a good pose from them nonetheless. Perfect natural lighting and superb ripples in the water caught too. Must be a beautiful place. Very nicely composed. Kudos.

Two lovely couples are enjoying the sun, I have no problems in understanding why that is so much better than posing for photographs!
But still we get a pleasant image, with good colours and fine details...

you captured quite some interesting ducks here. Jay did a great job identifying them for us. Lucky you getting such a nice shot of them out of the water. Good details and very nice sharpness. Very well composed, I like the lighting a lot and the textures of the water.

Funny and exact title and very nice picture. I like impressive sunlight, nice colours and perfect reproduction of all pictured objects: water surface with small waves, rocks and duck despite they look at other direction.
