Ha! Winter is finally over. Soon will come the heat waves!
This is my last winter post for the season and a fitting one with this deer that blinked a eye at me. The winter here was relatively shorter than usual. The first real snow fall of the season started in mid January. I remember last December having temperature of +15 celsius on some days! Yes, I really had the impression that winter this year went by 'In A Blink Of An Eye'.

i'd lighten the shot just a bit and the snow seems a bit red. great pose by the deer! good focus

C'est vrai Patrick que l'hiver est parti dans un clin d'oeil et c'est correct comme ça. Il a commencé tard mais ne semblait plus vouloir finir... C'est une belle prise de ce superbe animal avec une bonne prise de vue, exposition et détails. C'est vraiment spécial d'en voir autant là-bas qu'ils soient si peu farouches. Merci,

Cleverly titled and very well seen, Patrick. The details are sharp, the colors rich, the almost full-on facial composition most fitting. The deer blends well with the background, and you were prescient -- well, sort of, anyway :) -- as I write, we are coming off a string of 90°F days. TFS.

A fine shot of this beauty.
This is the kind of expression that is hard to get and doesn't come around all the time.You nailed it.What a wonderful capture and the title is so appropo.
The POV is excellent,and the focus is sharp with wonderful detail,the texture of the fur is remarkable.
