“Tiger” is the name of this photo. I tried to find out the correct name of this butterfly without success.It is Dryadula Phaétusa or Banded Longwing, Nymphalidaé/Héliconinaé, thanks to Daniel. However it is a creature of beauty. It was taken at the butterfly exhibition in St. John’s and this live exhibition was fantastic for photographers and the general public as well.
The photograph was cropped, level adjusted, unsharpen mask, 186, 1, 6, duplicate layer multiply 45%, framed and saved for the web.
If you happen to know the name of this butterfly, I would greatly appreciated. |
