On that famous day with Marie and Claudine we also had the chance to find that Great Horned Owl nest.That picture represent the nest of my previous Owl posting.
From Audubon Field Guide
The Great Horned Owl preys on a wides variety of creatures,including grouse 7 rabbits as well as beetles,lizards and frogs.It is one of the first birds to nest,layingitt eggs as early as late January,even when there is still snow on the ground.

Hi Michel,

A nice closeup of this baby owl. How did you get so close? They are so hard to photograph but you did very well. Colors and details are good - we can see how fuzzy he is.

Michel, There is more lighting on the top of the owl. The eye contact is very good and it looks like it is staring at someone? Is that you?
