Another shot of the Blakiston Falls area, this time further up the river. With the 10mm I notice I can't really use the polarizing filter or the sky will be dark on one side of the shot. So I shot this with a grad filter. But there is still a darker area of the sky, that appears to be a nutral phenemenon of the wide angle of a 10mm lens.

Other PP: A contrast adjustment, resize, frame, USM, and a bit of sensor dust cloned from the sky.

That looks more like lens vignetting to me in the corners Mike, but that can easily be corrected. It's tough getting a properly balanced exposure in bright daylight. Those super wide angles look like alot of fun to play with.

Hello Mike,
superb POV, and sharp colors. I like mountain landscapes as this one. Useful infos about filters.

Hi Mike,
a perfect place - I never had the chance to visit Canada.
When I now look at your impressive shots I'm sure I missed many wonderful places there.
I have to come soon ....
Thanks and greetings

Hello Mike,
A beautiful frame, the wilderness well depicted!
The composition is balanced, and has a good lead-in by the river...
Impressive (Nikon) colours and pin sharp details!
