Here is a shot of Blakiston Falls from the viewing area. I tried both fast and show exposures but I like the soft look of the water with this longer exposure.
PP: A contrast adjustment, resize, some sensor dust cloned, a frame, and USM. |

Hello Mike,
Excellent choice of shutter speed and great depth of field in this splendid shot, I have just come back from Waterton myself, one of my favorite places before the onslaught or after. I like your landscapes of the places I know well, I have little ability when it comes to landscapes, so I enjoy these. Thanks Mike and yes I'm from the Hat.

Hi Mike,
We're back, for a couple of weeks and then we'll be off again. Got to "make hay while the sun shines!" It looks like you had some nice weather in Waterton. I don't think I would want to kayak any of those lakes with that unpredictable wind! But then I haven't really seen many of the lakes, but I do remember being blown over at the Prince of Wales Hotel! This is a nice shot but looks like it could use a bit of enhancing ( to even out the exposure and remove some of the cyan cast). It is fun revisiting places and also learning of places we missed. It was so crowded the last time we were there that we couldn't park in any of the official "viewing areas".

I love the angle you captured the photo on and how the water leads your eyes down its path around the corner disapearing. Very nice work and the water looks gentle and soft :)
