| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| The Mountain Bluebird is quite rare here, but it's easy to spot - the color is such a striking contrast to the green surroundings. This was taken in the beautiful Qu'Appelle Valley, a short drive north of Regina Saskatchewan. I was wishing I had a longer lens; I took another step forward and it was gone. |

Brilliant colors against all that green. Oh how I know the feeling of wanting a longer lens... sigh. But the composition is lovely, and I like the bird on the sign... almost a defiant gesture, lol.. The colors and detail in the image are good... overall it is a very nice photo, TFS, Mish
This is such a funny image Dave with very good timing. I know that we have Blue Robins (don't know if it's the good name)here but I have never seen one. This bird looks great. It would have been nice if the shot could be closer, but the message here is very cute. He's parked on a no hunting sign, this is great :) Thanks,
Claudine
