[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was trying to climb up a hill to take a picture of a beautiful landscape when I lost footing and came nose to nose with these two. I passed up my first instinct to run and scream and took my camera out instead. Took several shots. Hope you all enjoy!!

And hello again!
As you can see I decided to watch great part of your gallery :)
This time two months during copulation.
It is not easy to take good picture of insects during this "special moment", even if in this time they are not so fast and not so mobile. There are always some problems with focus and depth of field - mainly because of many different morphological structures of these creatures.
Really this picture does not have perfect DOF but on the other hand it is really nice as documentary photo. We can see a male specimen on the right side (note the shape of antennae!) and a female behind him (species from Lymantridae family?). Moths are very coloured and - I think - rather medium sized (more than 3 cm?). The problem with DOF is probably because of the place whre you met these insects - grass area. Anyway, as I noted above, I like this phot because of its documentary role :)
