I found this very interesting. I cannot imagine how it would feel to be on a large lake and find clouds like this moving in. Very dramatic.

Hi Donna,
This is almost apocalyptic!
It is so good the cloud formations, quite frightening if you're on a boat at the middle of the lake.
The colour couldn't be more representative of a storm.
I like so much this composition, with all that gorgeous sky dominating the image.

A fascinating picture of ominous storm clouds, Donna.
You have been very successful in conveying the sense of power latent in them and their enormous size and color. The two strips of contrasting colors representing water and sky put the storm clouds in perfect perspective.

Good thing you were on a big ship, able to take what might come...
The dramatic clouds are well exposed, and the light in a distance adds to the atmosphere!

This is a dramatic shot Donna and I'm glad it was you and not me there!! : ) It would have made me a tad nervous too. I really like the dark lake and the pink horizon. I'm surprised that you were able to out sail it!

Hi Donna,
This indeed is an eerie feeling the Lake erie presents. The dark clouds look ominous and its strength and intensity is well portrayed. I like the light glow separating the clouds and the water. Excellent POV to capture this scene and very nicely composed. Kudos.
