| These Goldfinch come in several varieties. That's the extent of my knowledge. I know they eat thistles from these plants and this one is stripping it for some reason. |

Beautiful colors and detail, just a shame the bird is somewhat hidden in amongst the thistle. I have loads of photos like that... somebody should tell birds that when they see a camera they should come sit out in the open, not hide amongst the branches and leaves. ;-)
