Outside taking the last pictures of the remaining flowers. I came across this little guy just sitting there cleaning himself up for about a minute. I took a couple pics before he flew away. Who kneww there would come a year where I would be so addicted to getting a good picture that it would outweigh my fear of these bugs. Do not get me wrong I still hold my breath and shakelike my cellphone on vibrate but it's a start.

Enjoy!!!

Thank you Krzysztof for correcting me on the 'bees' true identity. It is greatly appreciated.

Hi
It is not a bee it is a fly (hoverfly - Syrphidae)
Best greatings
Krzysztof

Bonjour Christian, quelles couleurs éclatantes sur cette photo !!! La syrphe est très nette avec de bons contraste, bien joué,
Pat

You sure have proven the point that is doesn't take a big priced camera to take a good picture. Back in my musical days (I am a jack of all trades), I had many students of reed instruments. I told the ones who had inexpensive instruments that a true musician could make music on a tin can. Same goes for photography. I see that model at $144US, which may be the price of tax on gear. You see where I'm going here? Great work. Imagine the possibilities.
