Smaller than a sparrow. Pale, brown-streaked, with bright red cap and black chin. Male has a pink breast. ( 13-14cm )
An energetic little bird, they are tame and trusting and allow close approach; unfortunately this trait causes them to fall prey to predators.

Would have been great to have a closer look, but I know that sometimes it just can't happen. From what I see, this is a very attractive looking bird. It is a little lost in the big picture, but nice to share all the same. TFS

DOF,BG and composition are well.May be it would be better
if you cropped right part.

C'est une belle prise de vue que tu as pris la avec ce sizerin flammé!
Le cliché est réussi mais le sujet est un peu loin pour pouvoir constater les détails comme il se doit,mais c'est une belle composition.
