Very pretty. It would be a nice treat for one of those goldfinches to slow down just a tad and let you add them to the mix, but we can't always have everything...;-(
It is a beautiful picture as it is and well composed!

Hi Silke,
A wonderful mixture of summer and autumn in one photo. This shows how nature slowly moves from bright colors to the warmer brown hues. I am always amazed about the great details this lens produces at is full focal lenght, especially considering the low price of the lens. Its still a little gem tucked away in my camera bag. The sunlight has given you a wonderful photo with great colors and a lovely reflection in the seeds. Great work on the DOF and exposure.

Hi Silke,
Wonderful capture of the Thistle flower and seedhead together like this. The colours are beautiful and the seedhead is really glistening in the beautiful light. The brown background is perfect and the composition excellent.

A nice rendition of the thistledown. I tried hard to get an image of one floating in air with no luck. You have true colors and good focus. Right on center.

perfect sharpness and DOF in this nice picture.
exposition is quite good , there are no overexposed areas.
BG works very well and POV at the same level is very good too.
