[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Today is such a grey day in a long week of grey days that this seemed the best image. It is of course a dandelion, bloom faded and yet gaining new life with the bright sun behind. In the bright white froth lies the promise of many more little suns: many more dandelions for some folks to curse as they pull them from their lawns, and for artists and children to bless as they admire the brilliance of the blooms against the green. -- promises of the future

Tech: composed in camera, shot in RAW, converted, selected background and blurred that, selected inverse to sharpen seed parachutes

Hi Silke. We have bright sun today for a change. must get out and make the most of it.
You have a nice shot of the dandelion sead head. good detail and a nice POV. well finish of in the frame. TFS. good notes too.
Nick..
have a good weekend

Hi Silke,
a nice picture of the weed, this days I like it but when
I was a house owner I really hate it ;-)
It's sharp where it's counts but thd DOF is a bit shallow even for F11. Nice colours and good POV.
Well done.
Have a nice weekend.

Hi Silke, lovely and elegant composition with splendid light, great presentation, very well done, ciao Silvio

Lovely shot Lady of the Lens ;)
I love the border and italic text.
+++ The DOF is very good as it blurs the BG nicely but also keeps the whole seed head in-focus. Good sharpness and a lot of detail. Nice colours and lighting.
--- I can't find anything wrong with it :)
Well done Silke,
Joe

What a lovely hand note card to keep on my desktop and remind me of summer to come...a few months away...danged snow...Very nice work.

Hi Silke,

I look at this and want to sneeze! Nice shot with good textures and contrast. The dandelion seed heads show off so well against the natural background.

Jane

Well work, have lots of them in my yard and I dont like them either :) but you did good job presenting it...Nice one Silke
Cecilia

Magnifique, moi qui esaaie souvent d'en réussir une jamais je n'y arrive, ici le tout est parfait, la plante est bien mise en évidence, la composition est superbe.
Bravo
Marie

Hi Silke,

A nice image of the dandelion which have reached the final stage before being blown away by the wind. The photo has a good composition, sharpness and nice colors. Thanks for sharing.

Pierre

This would make an excellent postcard!
Beautiful! Gentle! Lovely!
I've always loved dandelions and I figured out how to get rid of them. I made up my mind to eat them! I would make dandelion salad with them. Once I made that decision, they all left. ha ha

Hi Silke,
A simple and so excellent composition. Very nice three-pack! I LIKE THE EXCELLENT DEPTH OF FIELD you did here :-) Perfect details on principal dandelion. VERY NICE FRAMING TOO...
Regards,

Claude
