Emma must be touched with your feeling and so am i with this great shot with a lovely title and wonderful notes, i liked the way you have focused on the flowers, excellent frming, lovely lighting, though most of us do not know each other in person but we all share a bond for sure,

Nice card for Emma...I do think of her from time to time...and this photo displays such emotion. You are not only a good writer and photographer...you can put things together in a super creative way to pass on feelings. What a wonderful talent and used in the perfect fashion.

The empathy that can be interpreted in this fine thistle shot can be a boost to many of us.
We as human beings need to feel and express it at times and if it helps a somebody like Emma then so much the better.

You are creating your own style! I knew you had done this before I read the name! It reminds me of a daffodil photograph that you did in spring!

It is quite beautiful! I love the upright stance, the touching heads, the soft lilac colours, the lovely framing and the whole gentle mood!

Hi Silke,
A wonderful and sweet photo for Emma. I am sure that she will enjoy this photo for two reasons. The first reason is that fact that the message of the title and the note will give her the support she needs. The other is that this flower will remind her of her most famous place...Scotland. The Thistle is considered to be the national flower of Scotland.
But, I am also sure that she will enjoy this photo for its beauty, its details and its perfection. At least that is how I enjoy it.

Hi Silke

thank you for such a great dedication and for your support. I have been really touched by everyone's support during this (rather long) period of ill health. I am beginning to feel better within myself, but am still unable to eat properly and still loosing weight so can't really buy anything to wear yet!
