Hi Silke,
both my grandfathers fought in World War 2 against the Nazi's and this is a lovely sentiment to remember those who died. Luckily both of mine made it though alive, although i wouldn't say unscathed.
A delicate composition and subject matter, wonderfully exposed to reveal the natural beauty of these little flowers.

hallo silke, das sind aber ein paar wunderschöne Vergissmeinnicht! :-) and a great dedication.
i really like how they are capturing the sunlight and the tender blue blossoms stand out of the green surrounding.

I like the composition, lighting and colours of this fine presentation of the Forget-me-not. A really beautiful reminder of summer!
I didn't know it was introduced into N. America.
Yes we must remember people who lost their lives in the hope of a better world. I believe in England they use the poppy for this purpose.

There couldn't be a better post for Remembrance day!! This is a wonderful capture, the flowers really stand out against the dark background and the colours are beautiful. I like the grasses in the background too and the composition is excellent.

Hi Silke!

The "Vergissmeinnicht" - I call it by this name in my mother-tongue - is such a beautiful flower. We have it everywhere in my countryside, but I'm always pleased and delighted when I see it. I often have tried to take a picture of it, but never was satisfied. I would be it if this would be mine...
