Hi Lise. Just love the Red looking hat on its head. what makes nature do this sort of thing. You have captured the Woodpecker with good details and colours.a nice pose with it looking over the top of the tree trunk. well done TFS.

A Lise tu me rend jalous. Je cherche cet oiseau depuis long temps. Cette photos est tous simplement parfaite. Il est rare de voire une si belle photo du Grand Pic. C'est un oiseau difficile à photographier à cause de son plumage noire. Je crois que la souche noire fut l'occasion parfaite pour faire ressortir le détail du plumage. De plus le BG de feuillage d'automne enrichi la photo.
