Last winter i was heading north on the Vancouver Island freeway. I had left the town of Ladysmith and was heading for Nanimo when I came upon this vista from the
highway. It was a beautiful view across the Straits of Georgia to the Coast Range Mountains.

I see those peaks on rare clear days.
I like the bands of colour (dark cloud, blue sky, white peaks, blue hills) but the foreground tree interferes.
