Your picture of snow on the branches of a tree is simple yet aesthetically very attractive, Donna. It snows where I actually come from in the mountains of India, so this image has a special appeal for me as well as a tinge of nostalgia.
Thanks for sharing it and best regards.

Hi Donna,
Wonderful presentation of the snow on the leaves. You have captured the feel of winter magnificently. Winters here is not so strong and it never snows, hence this image evokes a lot of interest. Superb light and exposure levels and a great OOF BF. I like your chosen POV and this pleasant composition. Kudos.
TFS.

Hi Donna
A very seasonal shot. The composition is very effective with good DOF.

hello Donna, a lovely winter shot with the snow perfectly exposed, I do wish we had snow here to brighten our dull weather. This is a very nice oomposition with good light, colours and sharpness. Very seasonal.

Snow and sunshine!
What luxury! :)
You are probably having too much snow right now, but here in S. Sweden we have had a dark greyness for over a month with no snow to brighten it up. We need light!
so to see this shot of white snow weighing down the spruce branch is a tonic, Donna.
Nice sharpness and composition too.
Thanks,
Ivan

Hello Donna,
This image makes snowfall look pretty and peaceful, what your getting is the other end the dangerous and nasty. This is a delightful image thanks Donna.

And for a snow storm, it was a huge snow storm; like the ones we used to have back in the 70ties... What a lot of fun it was :)! You capture typical scenery with natural exposure and good composition. Thanks,
Claudine

It feels Christmas like. Being from the south where we get snow once every two or three years it is nice to see scenes like this. I think the wind was your nemesis this day. The green leaves would have been sharper without the wind.

Hi Donna.
You are luckier than I am. You have snow and nice winter pictures. Several years we almost have not snow and I have not good winter pictures.
I like exact level of exposure, cute subject and nice quality of the shot. DOF is great and creates the impressive view. My compliments and Happy Holiday Season.

A fine macro, Donna, and a scene we're familiar with here not far from Lakes Michigan and Superior. (Winter got an early start this year, and then rains over the weekend started to erode our snow cover. We made up for it yesterday, and got to shovel for 1˝ hours this morning.)
Anyway, this powdery coating of snow on evergreen seems like such a quintessential winter shot. Simple, but effective and well shown.
Merry Christmas -- and best wishes for a warm, dry, and joyous New Year.
Jim
