[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I just love this dark yellow lunar disk rising over the hills, partially occluded by tree branches.
the orange hue is caused by air pollution over Vancouver.

John;
I love it too...and when I saw you critique an image of mine a couple weeks ago..I really hoped to be able to get back to you...it has been a while, but this is Christmas...and there are very few posts today or last night depending...
I as well see some very positive things which stick out..For one thing it is a full moon on Xmas Eve...it is not a usual happening...I want you to know it is good and so noted...Peace of God be upon you tonight John. I will have to return tomorrow to give you your stocking:-)

Interesting shot. If it was not explained I would think it was light taken from inside a round tube.Very creative eye.
Merry Christmas.

Bonjour John,

Je salue l'originalité de cette composition...

Hi John,

very good idea,

I like the simplicity and the way the branches divide the moon circle
