Great shot of this Mallard. They are really common, so you forget how pretty they are. I love the colours and great sharpness. Great details on the head and pose. I like the little drops of water falling from his wings.
Nice soft background.

What a brilliant shot. Maybe one day, I'll also accomplish in taking a photo of a bird soaring in the sky. Up to date I only had near misses, and I really admire people like you that succeed in these shots. This is a masterpiece and I am quite jealous. This Mallard has a beautiful and detailed wingspan, and you were very lucky to be equipped with your camera and all the technical goodies at the right time. You have managed to capture this bird in flight in perfect pose and the noticeable fine points are astonishing. What made an impact on me the most is the clear visibility of the eyes. Excellent photography and a dream photo. I enjoyed this one. Thanks for sharing.
