Ahhh the reviews..kind of like off Broadway and sitting in a remote bar with your fellow actors waiting for the early news:-) A great shot Bobsled..I call you that for reasons unknown...there is some kind of translation problem from French to English and I have noticve it with some critiques of both yours and mine...anyhow...It is nice..and for me it is because it is in the fir tree..or pine but looking like Canadian Spruce or some such...I love it that way so natural..and of course with your gear and knowledge..You do it well...very well...

Congratulations on one year! No need to apologise for being busy! I am the same way, in fact I joined treknature nearly 3 years ago and look at the limited amount of stuff I could manage :) I regret not devoting enough time to photography but I'm quickly making up for it nowadays! I agree, everybody here is most helpful.

This is a beautiful picture. Perfect composition, the branches frame the picture beautifully. Excellent focus, depth of field and amount of light. The green tones are beautiful and perfect amount of warmth given by the sunlight and the golden brown shades in the bird. Thank you for giving us that touching note.

This should be called a spruce siskin, ok bad attempt at humor.
Looking back, it doesn't seem like a year. My gosh how you have fought for the animals, your passion is priceless. Your images have grown so over the year just look back. You are a great member of a great community. Thanks for all you contribute to this site Bob, and congratulations my friend.

it has been a year in which I also had little time to spend on TN but I always enjoyed your pictures. So defenitly keep up the good work. I like this picture as well. Not a full frame image but it also show some surroundings. The colours and composition draw full attention to the bird.

Congratulations on one year here on TN.I always enjoy your perspective and the view from your lens.It is obvious from your postings your deep commitment and concern to Nature,the World needs more Bobairs.Your images just keep getting better and better.
This Pine Siskin is well focused with sharp plumage detail.
The lighting is excellent and the colours are well saturated.
Very good POV and DOF,the OOF BG really helps make this bird a stand out.
