Superb in flight shot of a Mallard drake that has gathered a little hoar frost on its plumage. Caught at a great moment, this is sharp and very well composed against a contrasting wintery OOF BG.

Fantastic picture of flying duck. I like pose, sharpness, colours and blurred BG. Shot is very detailed - we can even see water or frost on bird's head!

Very good in flight male Mallard, Joseph.
Very sharp!
An awesome 2.8...you might expect DOF trouble; just the opposite.
Maybe it is even helping to get the blurred wings:-).
Guess the little particles are little water droplets generated through light and wind...
Another gem.

j'ai plus de 80 photos favoris (des autres photographes)
et de ces 80 photos peut-être une douzaine de fois
j'écrivai cette photo-là est la meilleure de tout le TN,
et bien pour le moment pour moi, cette photo-là est
la meilleure et la plus belle des photos de tout le TN

quelle belle image que j'aimerais un jour pouvoir réaliser,
commençons par l'arrière-plan qui est superbe et ne
gêne pas du tout à l'avant-plan,
ensuite les couleurs du colvert sont belles et naturelles
et les détails de son plumage excellent, après, ce léger
flou aux rémiges donne cette impression du mouvement,
et pour terminer superbe pov et cadrage de l'image
