This photo is not really intended for a species ID, or my normal type for upload, but there was something about the darkness and position of this bird that made me keep it and actually think about framing it.It has been cropped, and the wider original was debatable as the preferred one to upload, because of more berries further away and in the distance of DOF.

Hi Doug,
This is very original! I like those tones of colors and composition. This looks like a painting! I have seen a flock of those birds recently for the first time in my life. The sky was covered and I didn't got very good shots but they are beautiful and impressive birds to see. Thanks,

on a dark background set off well the bird from the backgrund,
for the framing i like better the one of the original, TFS

I love what you've done to make this look like a painting! So artistic, Doug! And even more creative how you've cropped from the original. I think it would be lovely framed. It is a different pov, but a worthwhile one. Very nice!
