Wow! Voici une très jolie image de cette Sittelle à poitrine rousse! J'aime le fond qui rehausse si bien l'oiseau en la mettant dans un genre d'aura naturel... Beau détail dans le plumage...

Je suis présentement en grande réflexion... C'est sur que je m'achète une 40D mais pour la lentille j'hésite énormément entre le zoom 100-400 IS et la 300mm IS... As-tu eu ce genre d'interrogation lorsque tu as acquis ton zoom? Certains disent que la qualité optique de la 100-400 varie entre 2 zoom... Es-tu satisfaites de ton achat? La 300mm fixe IS est supposément plus sharp et me permettrait aisément de faire des insectes... Alors que la 100-400 est plus versatile... Pas évident à faire comme choix vu le prix....

une très très belle photo, c'est une espèce d'oiseau
que je n'ai pas encore eu la chance de voir en vrai, et aussi
ces oiseau-là qu'il soit à potrine blanche ou à poitrine rousse,
en images je les ai toujours ou presque vu dans leurs pose
caractéristique de leur envol des arbres

ici tu nous la présente avec un angle de vue différent,
une pose différente de cette espèce d'oiseau,
jolie gros plan avec d'excellent détails et de son plumage
et de celui de la branche

là Claudine, je vais écrire une chose (eh oui une fois de plus)
une chose qui ai plus facile à écrire maintenant que de le penser
et faire dans le feu de l'action,

comme l'oiseau a le regard vers le bas de l'image,
tu aurais dù donner un peu moins d'espace dans le haut
de l'image et un peu plus au bas de la branche,
mais comme je le dit, plus facile de l'écrire que de le
faire dans le feu de l'action, TFS pour cette superbe image

A really beautiful capture of this lovely Red-breasted Nuthatch!
I like the excellent close-up here and the impeccable details you present it with. The colors are also gorgeous and well saturated, in both the bird and the beautiful BG.
I also see you've used a fill-in flash...i would say this is a good job here because i can't see where :) Now, even though this sounds silly, but i think that a good fill-in effect is one the viewer can't really notice...a very subtle one. I'm pretty sure that the same shot without a flash would have had very hard shadows and dark spots.
So, wonderful work!

J'aime bien le fait qu'elle aie la tête en haut, on peut apprécier sa belle poitrine rousse que tu as capturé avec beaucoup de netteté et de détails. L'ouverture F8 a été un excellent choix, cette sitelle est en parfait focus du bout du bec au bout de la queue. Félicitations!

Thanks to your visit and critic on the european brother,yes,I think as well they look quite similar,but if you read in the wikipedia,you can read that there exist 22 sorts of related nuthaches,you had the light on your side and made good use of fill flash thanks,
