Splendid shot of this really handsome lad!
The vibrant colors in his plumage surely attract lots of females...and that's also why he's walking so proudly ;)
I really like the low-angled POV you used here; it allows you a great view for the bird but it also creates a bigger perspective gap between it and the BG, blurring anything else in the BG better. Smart choice.
The details are also stunning - very clear and sharp - the exposure is very well managed, too.
Very simple and elegant composition as well!

This is a top shot of the cock pheasant in a superb pose with his tail feathers high in the air..the low pov is great as is the sharpness..the grass makes a perfect backdrop and really highlights him well.
