| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This small one-lane wooden bridge links the municipalities of Chateauguay and Ville de Lery along the southern banks of Lac St.Louis. This quiet semi-residential area has a beautiful mix of natural and man-made features. The creek underneath flows from the Chateauguay River into the lake.
The surrounding area has extensive marshes that are a major bird sanctuary for migrating species of ducks, geese and other fowl.
That cold day in February, a fast moving snow squall had swept through with horizontally blowing snow.
