[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The Bufflehead nests almost exclusively in holes excavated by Northern Flickers and, on occasion, by Pileated Woodpeckers.
Unlike most ducks, the Bufflehead is mostly monogamous, often remaining with the same mate for several years.
The Bufflehead lays eggs more slowly than most other ducks, commonly with intervals of two or three days between eggs.

Hi Paul
This is very nice image, very good sharp and detail
very naturel color
have anice day.

Hello Paul,
Interesting notes about this duck and a very well captured in image. I like the details of the whole duck being exposed and the white part of the head contrasted well with the metallic purplish green. Well cropped for this bird - I like it!
Regards,
Jusni
