hello, first i would like to say you that yesturday
i had a little bad luck with my SLR-Like camera
and he is sended to Fujifilm to be repared
and they told me it will take a few weeks
to send be repared and then send back here

so in the next few weeks i'll be without
my SLR-like camera and i would not be able to do new photos,

but i'll go see in in my archives and post some photos in TN,
photos that i love more than the others, because i have
many many photos but only few ones will be posted in TN
the time my camera will be repared

this photo here of the Red-winged Blackbird
is one of my photos that i love it more than the others,
while takin a male Red-winged Blackbird photo,
i alwys waite when he launch his cry and only
at that moment i shoot the camera

here is the page of the Red-winged Blackbird:

http://www.birds.cornell.edu/AllAboutBirds/BirdGuide/Red-winged_Blackbird.html

from that page i'll take this text here :
« The male Red-winged Blackbird fiercely
defends his territory during the breeding season.
He may spend more than a quarter of all the daylight
hours in territory defense. He vigorously keeps
all other males out of the territory and defends
the nests from predators. He will attack much
larger animals, including horses and people. »

et the end we can read :
« He will attack much larger animals, including horses »

the best example is this photo of Rick (ADANAC)
go see it and read it the history written by Rick

merci

Hello Asbed,
Sorry to hear that you wll be without you camera for a while. In the meantime this is a fine capture of the red-winged Blackbird taken sharply from a good POv that shows the red on the wing. The composition against the blue sky is excellent.
Well done my friend,
Tfs,
Ivan

Hi Asbed

Bad luck about your camera :(

This is a good shot - I like the fluffed up feathers on the blackbird, plus the POV and colours.

James

Hi Asbed,

Sorry to hear about the camera - not sure what I'd do without mine, even for a few weeks. However, I'm sure you have a wealth of pictures in you archive to keep us entertained. I really like this one; the composition in particular is excellent and the exposure perfect.

Hi Asbed,

I'm so sorry about your camera - you will be missing a best friend. But it gives us a chance to see the best of your archives. This Blackbird with the wide opened beak is wonderful. I love the pose and the composition. Beautiful colors and excellent details of this pretty bird.

Bonjour Asbed,

Désolé d'apprendre cette nouvelle, je te souhaite qu'il la répare vite. Belle capture du carouge, des couleurs bien vivantes sous un ciel comme on le voudrait toujours!!

Lise

Hi Asbed,
I like the open beak pose and those dramatic red wing-bars stand out well. I've only seen these here in Texas one time. Hope they get your camera back to you quickly, I know what it's like to be camera-less :(
TFS,
Howard

I have been deluged by a once in a lifetime snow and ice and whatever storm. My power has been out and on all day..We have a foot and a half of snow in 15 hours. It is a mess...so this is a cc'ed message to folks whose pics I normally critique. I will try to return tomorrow for proper...if not then this will be a unique critique..like a wind signature eh?

Bonjour mon cher Absed,
bravo
amicalement,
Pat

Best wishes to your camera "Get Well Quick little Camera" :)

Bravo

Hello Asbed

Lovely colours, the red patch really stands out against the beautiful blue sky.
Very good POV,you have captured this guy in the middle of his song.A song that reminds me of Spring.
Nicely composed.

Rob
