This is such a cool set of images. Not only you but 1 or 2 others have been getting some pretty dynamic angles...There is a unique quality to this one..I should start a theme of unusual bird angles...Some birds would not work as well as this one, but it sure is a dandy Rick.

Hi Rick,

A very unusual view of this Blackbird showing off his wings and tail feathers in a spectacular fashion. Wonderful details there. The patches really do appear to be flames - quite a sight. Stay safe during the blizzard.

Beautiful shot! We have these guys in Texas too, but I have not yet seen them display this behavior. The orange really stands out against the black. Nice BG and exposure. It would be easy to underexpose him. Great Shot.
