Very cute indeed and amazing to see how it clings on to the bark looking for little insects. Beuatiful light and colours and the details are very sharp and I love the fluffy feathers. The soft background is lovely too.

Bonjour Claudine,

Elle est adorable cette pose, on sent la force de ses petites griffes qui le maintient dans cette position très originale. De belles couleurs bien saturées et à la fois naturelles, d'excellents détails dans le plumage et que dire de cette belle lumière du 14 février! Très bien fait!

Cute indeed, Claudine!
These chickadees must be great birds to photograph, like their relatives in Europe. Both technically and esthetically this is a superb capture. The pose and POV being first class and the lighting and exposure just right without producing a BG that is too dark.

encore une de tes très belles composition photographique,
j'aimes beaucoup la pose de cette petite et adorable acrobate,
excellente netteté et détails de son plumage,

pour la partie des hautes lumières (la surexposition)
tu peux la corriger dans Photoshop avec l'outil tampon Burn Tool,
choisis le diamètre du brush (j'ai choisis 16 pixels pour ton image)
choisis ton Range pour Highlights et va seulement
avec 2% pour l'exposure (pour cette image-ci),
ainsi avec cet outil tu peux allé chercher des détails dans tes
highlights, je l'utilise fréquement pour avoir des détails,

Nul besoin d'écrire, l'image parle tellement d'elle-même. Tu viens de nous "pondre" un autre petit bijou, c'est superbe Claudine. J'adore la pose et surtout, la composition, le mouvement courbé de la mésange avec la courbe de la branche. C'est beau, c'est original et très agréable à regarder. On voit même tous les détails de ses petites pattes! Ces petites acrobates n'ont pas fini de faire la manchette! Merci,

Superb pose captured wonderfully with sharp focus and good exposure the white cheek is a bit overexposed but nothing serious. It seems to be searching under the bark for hidden morsels of bugs. Thanks for sharing.

Ce mésange à tête noire qui fait l'acrobate est impressionnant. La prise de vue permet de distinguer les détails et les couleurs de l'oiseau. La photo reçoit une bonne luminosité ce qui fait ressortir les couleurs. Le sujet est bien cadré. Bonne journée.

The upside-down pose from this cute Black-Capped Chickadee attracts a lot of attention indeed, but once past that, a viewer can enjoy this beautiful bird thanks to the outstanding details and the nice colors it is presented with.

I agree with your note and also like this pose that shows these birds acrobatic abilities. Wonderful picture of this seems to be energetic bird. I agree with you in 100% - this is a very cute acrobat (even if not similar to any bat ;>).
You kept this small bird in very good way: sharpness, DOF and details are very good, and I really know that it was not easy to do that because of speed and mibiliy of this species.
I am only not very sure if the flash work was too strong, because the white reflections on its head are a little too light :)
Anyway, nice work!

Cool pose Claudine!
I was just going though a few attempts of this bird in my files..
They are most difficult to expose correctly with that B&W head combo.
I like most of all this hanging pose as I've said, and your POV is perfect..Nice comp too :)
